Minutes from the Milford Youth Organization June 3, 2010 Board Meeting

The Milford Board Meeting was held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the South Cobb Library. The meeting was called to order by President Kim McCall at 6:30 PM.

The agenda was as follows:

The following board members were present:

Kim McCall, President-Non Voting Member unless there is a tie

Shaunta Cooke, Girls Athletic Director (Cheer Director)

Kim Holmes, Girls Equipment Manager (Assistant Cheer Director)-Non Voting Member

Timisha Colyar, Secretary

Nichole Williams, Treasurer

Tony Brown, Web Master-Non Voting Member

Rudy Sims, Equipment Manager

Kenny Holmes, Vice President

Kim Bouie, Concession Stand Manager

The following board members were absent:

Aundre Harris, Boys Athletic Director

Renee Smith, Sponsorship/Fundraiser Coordinator

3. Finance

1. Football Balance- $11,584.56
2. Cheer Balance- $393.86
3. The Park Insurance is due by 06/31/2010

4. Old Business

Please make sure that the day of registration all tables, chairs, and items to be sold are set up before 11am. Early registration will be extended to this weekend and thereafter the fee will increase to $200. Make sure the parents initial the page where it states that there will be no refunds.

5. New Business

1. Tony Brown will send out an email announcing the new prices and camp dates.
2. Nichole will email everyone that has paid and include a handbook.
3. An email address will be added to the spread sheet, because it’s easier to communicate with the parents this way.

6. Board Comments

Kenny Holmes will continue to shop around for the best prices regarding refurbished and new helmets. He has a couple of quotes, but nothing was voted on yet.
