REMINDER!!!! Registration Fee is $200 for football and $250 for cheerleading.
Each Online Registration Fee Requires a $3.00 Administration Fee.

Football

May 1-15 $75.00

May 30 $75.00

June 15 $50.00 + fundraiser payment $50 payment only, $105 (15 * 7.00) participating in the fundraiser

Cheerleading

May 1-15 $85.00

May 30 $85.00

June 15 $80.00 + fundraiser payment $50 payment only, $105 (15 * 7.00) participating in the fundraiser

Starting on Saturday, We will be on site at the park each Saturday.

Milford Football Conditioning Camp

We understand the importance of conditioning for youth football in Cobb County, Georgia. That’s why we’re scheduling a weekly football conditioning camp for the Milford Warriors Youth Football teams. If you’re looking for something for your child to do this summer, we’re inviting you to participate in this great instructional session for playing all offensive and defensive positions, as well as special teams. The cornerstone of a good football team is having players that are in shape and physically ready for action.

And it’s absolutely FREE!

We meet at Hurt Road Park 5pm to 7pm where the kids participate in our summer football conditioning camp.
Registration will be held at camp.

Don’t forget to register your child for the Milford Warriors summer football camp which will be held July 18th through July 21st. The cost is $30 per player which includes a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Please stop by the registration tent each Saturday from 11am – 2pm to sign up. Or, you may also register during one of the remaining three Sunday conditioning camp.

Cheer Updates

Mandatory Fundraiser Participation

At the beginning of the season, there was an expectation that the parents would
participate in a mandatory fundraiser or pay $40.00 for non-participation. In addition to
fundraising, we traditionally have an end of the season banquet for which there is a fee
of $25.00. Because we had such a great season, we have decided to waive the $25.00
banquet fee!

Nevertheless, our mandatory fundraiser was selling Falcons Tickets and unfortunately
we did not have 100% participation. We then incorporated another fundraiser selling
raffle tickets. This was also mandatory and it gave those who were not able to initially
participate, another chance to do so. Therefore, it is still important that parents who did
not take part in either fundraiser still do so by paying only the $40.00 fee. Please keep
in mind that there is still time to avoid this fee because the raffle has been extended to
November 4, 2010. Please continue to sell the tickets until then. This will ensure that
we have a successful banquet for each and every player, cheerleader, and coach who
have worked so hard this season. Please feel free to contact any member of the board of
directors if you have any questions or concerns.

Playoffs on Saturday

This is the first week of playoffs, we are very excited for our boys and coaches who have been working hard all season long. Let’s keep it going all the way to the SHIP!!

We have 4 home games this week.

100lb vs. East Paulding @10am

110lb vs. Bill Arp @ 12 noon

120lb vs. Bill Arp @ 2pm

140lb vs. Bill Arp @ 4pm

Cheerleading Competition

The Milford Cheerleading Program will be participating in two cheerleading competitions.

The Final Face Off
Date: Sunday, 10/31/2010
Place: East Paulding High School
Time: Doors open at 11:00am
Admission: $5.00. All football players wearing a jersey will receive free admission.

There will be a spirit award for crowd participation, we need your help!

CHEER FEST 2010
Date: Sunday, 11/07/2010
Place: Cobb Civic Center
Time: Doors open at 11:30am
Admission: $5.00

Raffle for 42″ LCD TV/BluRay Player

Due to the low participation of our raffle sales, the raffle has been postponed! We will hold the raffle on December 4, 2010 at our park banquet. Please continue to sell ALL raffle tickets during this time. We would like to thank all of you who have participated thus far. If any of you would like additional tickets, please see your team mom, Renee Smith or Kim McCall.

Remember that any parents who have not participated in the raffle will have to pay $40 in order to receive a trophy and attend the end of season park banquet. These funds are due on Thursday, November 4, 2010. The trophies will be
ordered on Friday, November 5.

Raffle for 42″ LCD TV and Blu-Ray Player

We will be holding a raffle beginning the week of
September 26, 2010. Please be sure to pick up your
raffle tickets for a chance to win a 42″ LCD TV & Blu-
Ray Disc Player. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5.
The proceeds will be used to help defer the cost of the
end-of-season banquet/awards ceremony. The more
tickets you sell, the less you have to pay at the end of
the year for your child’s trophy.

We must have 100% participation to offset the cost
of the banquet and trophies! We ask that you sell 20
tickets per child; this will ensure that you will not have
any out of pocket expenses for the park banquet.

WOW! What a bounce back from a week ago! Congratulations to all the winning teams and for the teams that came up a little short. We are all in this together and we are only as strong as our weakest link. So, let’s make the best of it and continue to compete. A special shout out to the 9 year old team for continuing to be our only undefeated team with a record of 3-0. Way to Go Coach Royce Turner, staff and team. We are very proud of your early success with everything this team had to encounter over the off season leading up to this year. Once again, from the entire Mighty Milford family… Congratulations!!!!!!!
